In the app
- Open Профіль (Profile) → Дані й приватність (Data & privacy).
- Tap Видалити обліковий запис (Delete account) and confirm.
You are signed out on all devices at once, the data on your phone is erased, and the rest is deleted from the server in the background.
Deleted data cannot be restored. To keep a copy, export it first: Дані й приватність → Експортувати дані (Data & privacy → Export data).
By email
- Write from the address you use to sign in to Jmenia, with the subject “Delete account”.
- We'll send a confirmation code to that address.
- Reply with the code within 7 days. We'll delete the account within 30 days and let you know by email.
We can't act on an email from another address or from a hidden Apple address — we couldn't verify that the account is yours. We'll reply with how to delete it in the app.
Only part of your data
You don't have to delete the whole account: in Профіль → Дані й приватність (Profile → Data & privacy) you can separately delete receipt photos, body measurements and the Electronic Cabinet token.
What is deleted
- Profile and goals
- Allergies and body measurements
- Pantry, receipts and receipt photos
- Dish photos
- Plan and meals eaten
- Shopping list
- Support requests
- Electronic Cabinet token
Shared list: if you own it, the list is deleted for all participants; if you are a participant, you simply leave it.
The activity log is anonymised: records remain with no link to you.
What is kept and for how long
- Anonymised activity log records — with no link to you.
- Database backups — up to 30 days; a deleted account is never restored from them.
- Emails in the support mailbox — deleted 12 months after the request is closed.
- Server request logs with IP addresses — 14 days.
- A hash of the deleted account's identifier — 35 days, so the account can be deleted again if the database is restored from a backup.
- The app installation record (platform and device check) — with no link to your account.
- Purchase history in the App Store or Google Play — kept by the store under its rules.
