Sign-in code doesn't arrive

The email with your code comes from no-reply@jmenia.com within 2 minutes.

• Check your Spam and Promotions folders.
• Typed the wrong address? Tap Змінити пошту (Change email).
• The code is valid for 10 minutes. You can request a new one after 60 seconds, up to 5 times an hour.
• Still nothing? Sign in with Apple or Google, or write to us.

New phone and signing in again

Your data is stored on our server, not only on your phone. On a new phone, install Jmenia and sign in the same way as before — with Apple, Google or email.

• Signing out erases the data only from the phone — it stays on the server.
• Before signing out, the app sends actions made offline; with no connection it shows how many actions will be lost.
• If you don't open Jmenia for 90 days, you'll need to sign in again.

Receipt not recognised

• Place the receipt on a flat surface and shoot in good light so all the text is in the frame.
• Photograph a long receipt in parts.
• If the receipt has a QR code, include it too — we use it to check purchases.
• A failed recognition doesn't count towards your limit.
• If recognition is postponed, the result will appear by itself — you can close the app.

Without internet

Jmenia works offline too: you see the plan a week back and ahead, your pantry, the shopping list and recipes.

• Marking З'їдено (Eaten), pantry changes, purchases and receipt photos apply at once and are sent automatically when you are back online.
• Actions that need the server — such as deleting data or changing consents — wait for a connection; the button explains why.
• The server does not accept offline actions older than 7 days, except receipt photos.

Shared list

A Jmenia Plus owner can invite up to 4 people to their shopping list; the app is free for invitees.

• To invite: Покупки → Поділитися → Запросити до спільного списку (Shopping → Share → Invite to shared list).
• An invitation is an email from Jmenia to the person's address with an 8-character code such as 7KQ2-M9XA. It can be used once and is valid for 7 days.
• Sign in with the same email and the invitation opens by itself. Otherwise enter the code: Маю запрошення до списку (I have a list invitation) on the sign-in screen or Маю код запрошення (I have an invitation code) in Покупки (Shopping).
• The email didn't arrive? Check Spam or ask the list owner for the code.
• Participants see only the list items; the owner's budget, prices, plan and restrictions stay private.
• When the owner's Plus ends, the list becomes read-only for participants — nothing is deleted.

Notifications don't arrive

• Check that notifications for Jmenia are allowed in your phone settings.
• In the app, open Профіль → Сповіщення (Profile → Notifications).
• From 22:00 to 08:00 is quiet time — no notifications.
• We send no more than 2 notifications a day.
• On Android, turn off battery saving for Jmenia.

Subscription and refunds

During the beta test everything is free, there is nothing to pay.

Sign in with Apple with a hidden address

If you chose Hide My Email when signing in with Apple, we only see Apple's forwarding address. It is a separate account, so always sign in the same way.

Mistake in a recipe or allergens

In the dish, tap Поскаржитися на рецепт (Report recipe) or send us an email with a photo of the ingredients on the package. We will check and fix it.

Always check ingredients against the label.

Deleting your account

In the app: Профіль → Дані й приватність → Видалити обліковий запис (Profile → Data & privacy → Delete account). How to delete it by email and what gets deleted — on the Account deletion page.

Beta test

To join, email support@jmenia.com with the subject “Beta”: your country, iPhone or Android, and for Android your Google account email.

• We reply within 2 business days and send the participant consent.
• After you agree, you get an invitation to TestFlight (iPhone) or the Google Play closed test (Android) — install Jmenia from it.
• The reward is a year of Jmenia Plus from the public release for taking part at least 14 days in a row. No card, no auto-renewal; we confirm it by email.
